Mezco introduces a spine-tingling doll from the Warner Brothers film ‘The Nun’.
Standing at approximately 18 inches tall, The Nun doll might just be as scary as the film. Her bright, piercing eyes stare directly into your soul and she features a film-accurate habit complete with a tunic, cowl, and veil.
First introduced in The Conjuring 2, horror fans got a quick glimpse of The Nun in a haunting scene where demonologist, Lorraine Warren, is attacked by the spirit.
This summer, The Nun stars in her own self-titled film exploring the unholy origin and dark secrets of her past further expanding the Conjuring’s Horrorverse.
The Nun comes packaged in a die-cut window box, perfect for display.
‘The Nun’ hits theaters September 6th, 2018. You can watch the trailer here.
Last week, Funko introduced their new Savage World line which features 5 1/2" action figures of famous Horror villains Jason, Freddy, Pinhead, Leatherface, and Michael Myers.
Today, Funko announced the ThunderCats line:
"Welcome to Third Earth – second home to the ThunderCats – following the destruction of their home planet Thundera. Lion-O, Lord of the ThunderCats and wielder of the Sword of Omens is ready to face off with Panthro against the demon priest Mumm-Ra and leader of the Reptilians, Slithe. These action figures are ready to reenact key battles between the ThunderCats and their chief antagonists."
The ThunderCats line will be available in October.
I can't say this is a complete shock, but it looks like Funko has done it again showing why they are the leaders of the toy world.
"Welcome to your worst nightmares. Everyone’s favorite Horror Villains – Freddy Krueger from ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’, Jason Voorhees from ‘Friday the 13th’, Leatherface from 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', Michael Myers from 'Halloween' and Pinnhead from 'Hellraiser' - are ready to haunt your dreams and chase you down. Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Michael Myers, and Hellriaser are heavily armed and entirely fitting additions to the Funko Savage World line."
Coming in September but available for pre-order now.
Chucky has been revived! Due to a mishap at the Play Pals’ factory, Chucky has been given a new lease on life and a new opportunity to take over an unsuspecting soul.
The Mezco Designer Series Talking Pizza Face Chucky features an all-new head sculpt, depicting Chucky’s mutilated face after a run in with the Grim Reaper’s scythe in the “Devil’s Lair”.
Just as he did in the films, Chucky has lots to say from his trademark “Hi, I’m Chucky, and I’m your friend till the end!”, to far more sinister phrases.
Sporting his signature ‘Good Guys’ overalls and stripped shirt, Chucky features 11 points of articulation, his trademark orange hair, and realistic glass eyes. He comes complete with a gun that fits neatly into his right hand.
The Mezco Designer Series Talking Pizza Face Chucky stands 15” tall and comes packaged in a collector-friendly, film-inspired window box.

Those of us old enough to remember Nintendo's Game Boy will rejoice in Enhance Games putting a space-age spin on the classic puzzle video game TETRIS.
As reported by SYFY Wire:
"Just in time for next week's E3 conference, the studio, helmed by Rez Infinite creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, have unveiled the stunning trailer for Tetris Effect, a PlayStation 4 version of the game which they claim offers a "magical feeling of total immersion" that surrounds you with "fantastic, fully three-dimensional worlds that react and evolve" based on how you play. In this latest iteration, Tetris Effect has over 30 different stages on which your blocks will fall, starting from deep beneath the ocean and extending to the furthest reaches of outer space."
Judging by the teaser trailer, the visuals are so intense you'll have concentrate to keep your eyes focused on making sure everything fits into place.
SYFY Wire continues:
"There is one nifty new rule that we’re more than a little excited about. The game features the all-new 'Zone' mechanic, where players can stop time (and Tetriminos falling) by entering 'the Zone' to either get out of a sticky situation that could otherwise lead to 'Game Over,' or to rack up extra line clears for bonus rewards."
Tetris Effect will be released this fall, and be fully playable on either a standard display (up to 4K and 60fps on a PS4 Pro), or in mind-blowing 3D on PS VR.
