"The Theatre Bizarre" Blu-Ray Review (Severin Films)
The concept was unprecedented: Enlist seven of horror’s most transgressive filmmakers – Douglas Buck (FAMILY PORTRAITS), Buddy Giovinazzo (COMBAT SHOCK), David Gregory (PLAGUE TOWN), Karim Hussain (SUBCONSCIOUS CRUELTY), Jeremy Kasten (THE ATTIC EXPEDITIONS), splatter FX legend Tom Savini and Richard Stanley (HARDWARE) – and give them total creative freedom to create their own short films inspired by the Grand Guignol. The result – starring genre icons like Udo Kier (FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN), Catriona MacColl (THE BEYOND), Lynn Lowry (THE CRAZIES) and Debbie Rochon (AMERICAN NIGHTMARE) – has been called “wildly unique” (Dread Central), “hilarious, grotesque and scary” (Bloody Disgusting) and “one of the best horror anthologies of all time” (Paste). Experience “a trip you’ll never forget” (Mondo Digital), finally officially available on Blu-ray with hours of Special Features.

Blindspot Episode 38 "Peeping Tom" Blu-Ray Review (Optimum Releasing)
Michael Powell's controversial serial killer classic. A clean-cut focus puller (Carl Boehm) at the local film studio supplements his wages by taking girly photographs in a seedy studio above a newsagent. By night he is a sadistic killer, stalking his victims with his camera forever in his hand trying to capture the look of genuine, unadulterated fear. On its initial release the film, now regarded as a masterpiece of the British horror movement, was savaged by critics and public alike. The fearsome reaction went a long way to ruining director Powell's career and the movie was unavailable for many years.
Special Features include:
Audio Commentary with Ian Christie
Two documentaries – ‘Eye of the Beholder’ and ‘The Strange Gaze of Mark Lewis’
Interview with Thelma Schoonmaker
Trailer and a Still Gallery
Introduction by its famous champion Martin Scorsese.
